⚠️ Upcoming Highway 4 Closure - September 23, 2026 ⚠️
A full closure of Highway 4 is planned for September 23 between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. for key safety-related work along Cameron Bluffs.
The work includes activities related to the catchment behind the rockfall mitigation barrier, ongoing slope and erosion concerns, and danger tree management. The closure would be between the gates on Highway 4 between Chalet Road and “the Hump”.
The timing will allow this work to be completed before inclement winter weather and help ensure the highway remains safe and reliable through the winter.
