Welcome to the Clayoquot Campus, a place-based learning hub nestled across 12 acres of breathtaking coastal landscape in the traditional Ha'houlthee of the Tla-o-qui-aht Ha'wiih.

Operating as a social enterprise managed by the IISAAK OLAM Foundation and owned by the Clayoquot Indigenous Conservation Innovation Centre (CICIC), Clayoquot Campus serves as a gathering space supporting Indigenous leadership, knowledge, and environmental stewardship. Every trail pass purchased, meal shared, and night spent in our lodge directly funds Indigenous-led conservation efforts across the Pacific region.

Campus Highlights:

• Naa'Waya'Sum Coastal Indigenous Gardens: (Formerly the Tofino Botanical Gardens) Walk 12 acres of re-wilded rainforest trails that meander down to the inlet edge. Learn about Nuu-chah-nulth culture, art, and knowledge systems through self-guided walks, tours, talks, and scheduled programming. Day passes and annual memberships are available (free entry for Nuu-chah-nulth citizens and children 0–12).
• IISAAK Ecolodge: Cozy, peaceful accommodation tucked into the property—ideal for individual west coast getaways, group retreats, educational cohorts, or organizational gatherings.
• Choo-kwa Ha-ook Cafe (delicious, fresh culinary offerings right on campus in partnership with celebrated Canadian guest Chef Lisa Ahier. Stay tuned for our next upcoming Guest Chef. Winter 2026! Looking for catered group or long table dinners?
