MacKenzie Beach Resort Camping

Mackenzie Beach Resort has a number of forest tent campsites available through the year.

Tofino’s stars have an unmatched brilliance, and there is no better way to experience them than in our campsites. Perfectly situated in nature, they deliver the most honest form of Tofino’s ambiance – a raw connection to the wild, complemented by contemporary comforts.

All sites are available for walk-ins, however, it is strongly recommended for guests to book in advance. Especially during the peak period between mid-June and early September. All sites come with a picnic table and fire pit.

Guests have access to beautiful tinwis (briefly known as Mackenzie Beach), potable water, coin operated hot showers, washrooms, coin operated laundry and free high-speed Wi-Fi during their stay. Our front desk carries firewood and kindling, and you are also welcome to rent propane firepits which can be used to roast your marshmallows even when there is a fire ban!

Forest Sites

Located a short walk (250 meters) away from the beach, these sites  allow for one tent. Sites are broken up by trees and allow for more privacy than the beach front sites (average site is approximately 15’x25′). Maximum four people per site. Please note base rates for camping are based on two adults.

XL Sites

Located in the Forest Camping Area with extra space for 2 tents. Maximum 6 people per site. Please note base rate is based on four adults (average site is 30’x40′).
