Elizabeth George is from the remote community of Ahousaht, 20 kilometres north of Tofino.

When picking her cedar in the woods, she prays to N’aas or the Creator that she will make use of all she harvests.

Elizabeth leads cedar weaving workshops and crafts a variety of items, including traditional cedar roses and hats, as well as dream catchers and beaded native dolls.
