Finding Solitude is a locally-produced film about mountain hiking on Vancouver Island.  It showcases the rarely seen or talked about parts of the place we call home, and presents some of the environmental issues we’re facing on the island: the critical underfunding of the BC Parks, the disappearance of the Island’s glaciers, and the cultural and environmental impact of the deforestation of the old growth forests. Our goal is to spread awareness through beautiful footage.

Join us at the Tofino Botanical Gardens to bid on a wide variety of auction items, from prints by local artists to weekend getaways at some of Tofino’s most incredible resorts.   Food and beverage will be available by donation.

Money raised will go towards funding the production our film, Finding Solitude.  See our website for the complete list of items to be auctioned.
