Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald
Director: David Yates Adv/Fant, 2018, US, 134 min, PG
The fate of one will change the future of all.
The powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald has escaped custody from MACUSA (Magical Congress of the USA), and has plans to raise pure-blood wizards to rule over all non-magical beings. Albus Dumbledore enlists Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.
Monday Night Movies in Tofino is a weekly film series run by The Clayoquot Sound Community Theatre Association. One film each month is a social issue documentary, often with discussion afterward. Doors open at 7:30 and shows begin at 8 pm every Monday. All proceeds from the door go to the CSCTA and are used to support the maintenance of, and programming in, the theatre. We hold two public performance licenses from Criterion Pictures in Vaughan, ON and Audio-Cine Films, Inc.in Montreal. There is also an All Organic Concession, serving Popcorn, Movie Bars & Tea.
