Fish for the Future

This September 21st – 23rd, Fish for the Future Catch & Release Fishing Derby will once again come to Tofino. This catch & release salmon derby is hosted by Tofino Resort + Marina and run in partnership with the Tla-O-Qui-Aht First Nations benefitting the Tofino Hatchery and The Salmon Roundtable. The derby will benefit the Clayoquot Watershed, an integral resource to all who call Tofino home, and a resource which needs preservation and protection.

Derby Details

Purchase an “Early Bird” entry before September 1st and be entered to win a 1-night stay at Tofino Resort + Marina and dinner for 2 at 1909 Kitchen.

Entry Fee: $200 per rod

Entry fee includes:

• Swag bag & event jersey
• 10 raffle tickets*. Prizes to be drawn throughout the weekend. (*Additional tickets can be purchased for $2/ticket.)
• Free entry for registered angler + 1 guest to Friday night’s Live Music & Welcome Party* (*Guests must arrive accompanied by a registered angler.)
• Free entry for registered angler for Saturday evening’s dinner
• 10% off Tofino Resort + Marina services during derby weekend
