Explore with hands, heart and spirit through our Matchbox Worlds workshop. We will learn about the art-element of Space and how to design an outer and inner ‘world’ using a matchbox and coloured markers. We will create a clay-creature which could live inside the designed world. There will be time for sharing and reflecting (optional) about the masterpieces we’ve created.
This 4 hour session will include:
• All required materials
• Origami matchbox
• Learning about the art element of SPACE (perspective)
• Designing and planning for your project
• Creation of art project with support and guidance tailored to meet the needs of each child
• Gathering time to share and reflect on what we’ve created.
To SIGN UP firstname.lastname@example.org or come by the store, Tues-Sat, 12pm-430pm.
This workshop will be led by Lauren Howard-Tripp from NamARTste – “Children learn best through PLAY which is why our LITTLEz series is designed to engage children through a hands-on, play and process based approach, encouraging mindfulness through making.”
