Sharks & Bats: Come and learn about two of the Pacific Rim National Park Reserves most misunderstood inhabitants and why they are at risk. Join a Parks Naturalist to learn about these Species at Risk and what Parks Canada and you can do to save them and their habitats.     

What is a Prop Talk: Fun, hands-on activities for everyone – young and experienced.  From the secret world of slugs to the mudflats at Grice Bay, there’s something new every day! Ask a staff member what’s happing today!  Here is a link to the complete summer schedule.

When & Where:  2pm at the Kwisitis Visitor Centre in the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve.


  • The event is free and open to all ages.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Please do not bring pets and recording devices are not permitted.
  • Ask all your questions and interact with the props provided by Parks Canada.
