Join us for an educational event at the Tofino Legion, Branch #65 on April 26th, 2018! All ages welcome!

This evening, David Leverton, Director of the Maritime Museum of British Columbia, will give a presentation relating to the travelling exhibit SS Princess Sophia.

This Canadian Pacific Railway passenger-liner travelled up and down the Pacific Northwest Coast, linking communities from Victoria, BC to Skagway, Alaska. It transported soldiers, miners, travellers, and commuters until it ran aground on the Vanderbilt Reef in 1918. Join us at this event to learn more about the SS Princess Sophia’s story and historic influence.

Location: 331 Main Street, Tofino Legion, Branch #65, Tofino, BC
