The Catalina Preservation Society will be bringing a restored WWII plane to the Tofino-Long Beach Airport on June 15th & 16th, offering a unique chance to see a 1943 PBY Catalina plane.
‘Locals should start looking up around 2:30 p.m. Friday as a World War II era Catalina aircraft will be circling above Ucluelet and Tofino before landing at Long Beach Airport where a booth will be set up on Friday and Saturday for locals to learn about the aircraft’s storied past.’ See more in the Westerly News article.
Open house hours on Saturday at the Tofino-Long Beach Airport are from 11am – 3 pm.
Learn more about who they are and what they do by visiting the Catalina Preservation Society website and Facebook Page.
