The Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation Days opening ceremony and parade is a fun, free, family friendly event that is open to all!
Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation Days are a community based week of cultural and sporting activities throughout the Tla-o-qui-aht traditional territories that brings members together to celebrate their culture.
The parade begins at 11:45am.
Parade Route: starts on corner of Campbell and 4th, down Campbell St, taking a right on 1st Street and then a right on Main Street. The parade finishes at Tofino’s Village Green.
Opening Ceremony at the Village Green after the parade. The opening ceremonies will include a welcoming ceremony, traditional songs and dances, bouncy castles along with a great barbeque!
Fireworks at the Tofino Harbour: begin at dusk (from a barge near 1st St. Dock)
