The 4th Annual Tofino Winterlights Festival is a celebration of light and art presented by Tofino Botanical Gardens.  The festival runs nightly from 5pm – 9 pm, November 29th, 2019 – January 5th, 2020.

On December 27th enjoy Haida Loop Poet & Wholesome*MC Ms.PAN!K as she creates dynamic soundscapes with her guitar, voice & loop station. Rich layered vocal harmonies stacked on looped-melodies are mixed with conscious rhymes and her soul-full lyrics creating experimental loop poetry.

Her Femme-Powered – Loop pedal-driven productions are overlaid with lyrics that confront her own fundamentals of self-reflection: learning to honor yourself, and accepting what makes you who you are amidst a chaotic ever shifting socio-cultural landscape.

Her singer songwriter sessions feature soul-full acoustic originals.

K’iinduu- Aus is originally from the unceded territory of her  Xaayda Ancestors on Haida Gwaii. Member to the K̲aayahl ‘Laanaas Clan — She raised in the Village of Skidegate on the beautiful and remote island archipelago of Haida Gwaii on the wild west coast of what is now called British Columbia, Canada. She has been a long time resident and guest on unceded Tla-o-qui-aht Territory in Tofino, BC.
