Poetry Party with Janice & Kaela
Please join Janice Lore and Kaela Aryn for an open mic celebrating the end of Janice's esteemed tenure as Tofino’s Poet Laureate, and the beginning of Kaela's.
The most exciting thing? Moss and Milk are generously donating all profits from their food and beverage sales at this party to the Wickaninnish Community School Lunch Program, and to Tla-o-qui-aht Tribal Parks Allies.
Thank you to the Tin Wis for the use their new amphitheatre! Please prepare to eat and drink, so that we can support these important initiatives.
The theme is JOY. Everyone is encouraged to wear florals or something BRIGHT! Kids are most welcome to come and share their poetry, and singer/songwriter friends have been invited to share a song. If you have a poem you want to share, PLEASE COME! If you hate standing in front of people, Kaela will gladly share it for you!
This is an inclusive event, and there is no pressure to perform.
