Washed up Wednesdays: n̓ačiqs (First St. dock) 2026
Join Tourism Tofino for the last "Washed Up Wednesdays" beach clean-up this summer!
This is a special clean-up featuring an introduction with ƛaʔuuk, Gisele Maria Martin. Learn about the history of n̓ačiqs (looking over the water), the ancient clam gardens along the shores, and exciting upcoming activities in the area.
This is a free, drop-in event to help collect and record beach debris.
Look for our tent at Grice Park. We encourage guests to walk, bike, or take the bus to reduce emissions and parking congestion.
We provide gloves and buckets to borrow, plus pick up a free beach scavenger hunt and Junior Ocean Protector sticker.
Participants can enter to win a complimentary 3-night stay for two at the award-winning Wickaninnish Inn. The draw will take place at the end of the summer. One participant per party is eligible and must be the age of majority (19 years old).
