The Hot Cocoa Trail Is About to Begin!
Celebrate the season with over 15 festive specialty hot chocolates to savour!
From November 28, 2025, to January 4, 2026, make the everyday special - for you and for your guests - with something sweet. This year, we are bringing back the Hot Cocoa Trail Pass - a way for participants to collect points and potentially win prizes!
Check off stops on the trail, and earn points for all the hot cocoas you try. Think of it as Pokemon Go! for hot chocolate - when you purchase the featured hot cocoa, you can check in by scanning a QR code to collect points. Use the map feature to plan your stops geographically, and the filters to help choose drinks that meet your dietary needs, e.g.: where to find gluten-free options.
How it works:
Each stop / drink is worth 100 points.
You can redeem 300 points for one of our nostalgic Tofino speckled ceramic mugs (pictured here) that can be picked up at the Tofino Visitor Centre.
AND / OR
redeem 100 points for one entry to our draw prize. There is no limit to the number of entries you may redeem, so a big fan of hot chocolate beverages could decide to redeem 600 points toward the prize draw after enjoying six hot cocoas.
Note: In order to redeem points, each participant must have their own pass. In other words, a party of three people would need one pass each in order to redeem points for the 3 drinks purchased.
Interested in contributing to the draw prize giveaway? Please - any contribution is welcome! We will produce social media posts and stories about the prize pack, tagging the businesses that contribute.
