Natural Light, Camera, Action - Keeping you in the loop of content shoots

Bryanna Bradley
We're living in the era of various content competing for our limited attention - on social media, apps, podcasts and websites, and connected and traditional media. Our work as Tourism Tofino is to stand out and draw in audiences who will visit here.
Through "owned" content like our website and social media, and paid content, otherwise known as advertising, we tell stories to compel potential visitors to book their visit to Tofino. This is why we aim to keep photo and video assets fresh and updated! We continually track which assets we have, as well as those we are missing - known as content gaps - to assess what we will need.
Have a peek at two recent shoots we organized:
Last week, we had a group of local models portray the story of a wildlife viewing tour, from the novelty of pulling on a floater suit, to walking down to the dock, the safety briefing, and of course getting on the water and being out in Clayoquot Sound for the stunning natural surroundings and to witness wildlife. Locally-based Hideaway Creative captured it all.

Posing for a selfie with the captain! This is a behind-the-scenes shot taken with a phone, and not the final product.
In March, photographer Bryanna Bradley and videographer Ben Giesbrecht flew with Atleo Air, along with a model who got to enjoy views of the Sound and some stunning perspectives of marine wildlife from above.

You will see some of these images pop up over time across our channels, and we're continuing to plan future shoots that portray the different aspects of a vacation in Tofino and Clayoquot Sound.
