This graph shows the average occupancy for major resorts/hotels in Tofino
The bolded percentage (29.4) is the average occupancy for January 2025. The red line shows occupancy for last year, 2024 and the blue line shows occupancy for 2023.
The data is collected privately by a third-party firm (STR) directly from ten hotels/resorts in Tofino and is given to Tourism Tofino as the aggregated data shown above. Not every hotel in Tofino contributes to STR, but it's a big enough sample size for us to confidently track and use this data.
