West Coast Transit now in service
Designed to promote regional connectivity on the West Coast, this new transit service launched on April 2.
This regional interim service is being provided by the Alberni Clayoquot Regional District and connects the District of Tofino, the District of Ucluelet, the Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ Government community of hitac̓u, the Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation communities of Ty-Histanis and Esowista, ACRD Electoral Area “C”, and Parks Canada areas.

- West Coast Transit has a cashless system. Download the Token Transit app or purchase passes at the Co-Op Food Store in Tofino or Ucluelet.
- Buses are accessible for people using a wheelchair or scooter.
- Bicycles are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and must be loaded by passenger.
- At this time, surfboards are unable to be transported on the bus.
- Pets are not allowed on the bus. Service animals are permitted with documentation.
