an itinerary with room to breathe

What could your team accomplish here? The possibilities are as endless as the lines of waves stretching to the horizon.

Day 1

  • Sunrise: Pre-breakfast group planning session – Share cool morning sea mist and a hot coffee on a beach driftwood log as you consider the possibilities of the day.
  • Morning: Continental breakfast and brainstorming – Spread out in an ocean-view meeting room. Take sparks of inspiration from the play of light on water.
  • Lunch: Savour local lingcod fish tacos under the shade of the rainforest.
  • Afternoon: Strategy breakout sessions – Present to your group on an endless beach as rows of thunderous waves applaud.
  • Dinner: Share an executive chef-prepared full course meal with locally sourced West Coast ingredients. Marvel at the bounty this land and sea can provide.
  • Evening: Sunset wind-down – Walk the shoreline. Let your eyes drift with golden clouds across the horizon, as your mind lets go of the business of the day. Get ready for the best sleep you’ve had in a long time.

Day 2

  • Team Building Wake-Up: Choose from a surf lesson, a boat tour of calm inlet waters, or a guided rainforest nature walk. Contemplate the connectedness of all things as the sand, sea and forest bring your group together like never before.
  • Brunch: Strategy Presentations – Your team’s ideas are as fresh as the salt air, and after catching this morning’s waves, every challenge seems conquerable.
  • Afternoon: Strategy Synthesis – Bringing it all together comes naturally in this environment. Ideas, themes and action flow like rivers to the sea.
  • Sunset Wrap-Up: Return to the driftwood log where it all began. It seems like you’ve shared a month of experience in these few days. The team vows to return, and when you do, the ocean and forest will be waiting. Timeless.

your Tofino journey

Tofino is at the tip of a sea-swept archipelago on the continent’s edge, yet it feels like the centre of the natural world.

Your flight above forested peaks to the other side of Vancouver Island takes just 45 minutes from Vancouver International Airport’s South Terminal or downtown Vancouver’s float plane terminal. As you approach our welcoming seaside village, Tofino’s many resorts, inns and cabins peek through the forest, next to our endless mist-draped beaches. You’re beginning to relax already.
