ʔapsčiik t̓ašii (pronounced up-scheek ta-shee) winds gracefully from downtown Tofino through Pacific Rim National Park Reserve, linking beaches, forest, and the natural abundance of Tla-o-qui-aht Tribal Parks. The pathway is a destination in itself.
The MUP makes outdoor recreation accessible
Multi-use pathways make it easier for people with varying mobility levels to get around without a car. It's a wonderful opportunity for multi-generational excursions!
The route was designed with the guidance of elders, and serves as a reminder to respect Indigenous ways of moving through different territories and acting with iisaak (respect).
