I know! What’s that about? We’re starting to (finally!) plan one, and—like lots of honeymooners—we’ve focused our attentions on sunny, beachy places. So I loved this list from Fodor’s—it’s all about the best small-town getaways for honeymooners. Doesn’t that sound kind of dreamy? Imagine quaint restaurants, strolls along Main Street, fresh air…ahh. (I basically need to book this honeymoon ASAP.)

Anyway! Here are their top spots for newlyweds. What do you think?

Cape Elizabeth, Maine
Who will like it: Couples who love charming oceanfronts and lobster dinners (and lobster rolls for lunch!).

Rosemary Beach, Florida
Who will like it: Newlyweds who enjoy looking at architecture (this town has lots of metal roofs, porches, boardwalks, and deep eaves).

Big Sur, California
Who will like it: This is for you, hikers, lovers of coastal fog, and groves of trees.
Crawford, Colorado
Who will like it: Calling all fans of the great outdoors! The newest national park is nestled quite close to here—between Aspen and Telluride—but you’re not entirely in the wilderness. There are spas and delicious cuisine options too.

Tofino, British Columbia, Canada
Who will like it: Fodor’s describes this as Santa Cruz meets Santa Fe—intriguing! It has galleries, outdoor getaways, and even paddleboarding and surfing.

Let’s add them to the list of honeymoon possibilities! What’s your dream honeymoon—or what do you already have planned?
