Tofino Wins Sunset 2016 Travel Award for “Best Beach Town in the West”

Vancouver Island Destination Is First Canadian Recipient of Prestigious Travel and Lifestyle Industry Accolade

Tofino, BC, July 20, 2016 – Tourism Tofino today announced that Tofino has been recognized by Time Inc.’s (NYSE: TIME) Sunset, the premier guide to living in the West, with the 2016 Sunset Travel Award for “Best Beach Town in the West.” Located on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada, Tofino is known for its miles of sandy beaches, outdoor adventures including surfing and whale watching, variety of accommodation options and boat-to-table-cuisine.
