This Mother’s Day, the team at Long Beach Lodge Resort proposes the Cocojito!
Lean back, prop up your feet, watch the teal waves crash and the sun set upon your toes. With one sip of the Cocojito, you will be instantly transported to vacation zone!

Watch Andy as he demonstrates how to prepare it (with a nice backdrop, too)

Gather your ingredients:

  • 2oz Rum
  • Handful of Fresh Mint
  • 2.5oz of Lime Juice
  • 1.5oz Simple Syrup
  • 1.5oz of Coconut Cream or Coconut Syrup
  • Soda
  • Tumbler + a Tall Glass


  • Fill a tall glass with ice
  • Add mint to your tumbler and muddle it to soften the leaves and release the flavour
  • Fill the tumbler with ice and add rum, lime juice, syrup, and coconut cream/syrup
  • Give the tumbler a good shake, and pour ingredients over the ice in your glass.
  • Top with soda and garnish with lime.
