Island Link Bus Service

The Nanaimo-Tofino route is between the Departure Bay Ferry Terminal and Tofino, serving intermediate points including Port Alberni and Ucluelet.

IslandLink started in 1998 with bus service from Qualicum Beach, French Creek and Parksville to the Departure Bay Ferry Terminal. The service was designed to serve as a connector for Horseshoe Bay/Departure Bay foot passengers. That remains the focus of our service today serving four BC Ferries terminals: Departure Bay, Little River, Buckley Bay and Campbell River to provide connecting bus transportation for ferry foot passengers. IslandLink carries more than 50,000 passengers a year and operates up to 14 buses
