Address
485 Wick Rd, Pacific Rim National Park Reserve, Ucluelet, BC

Kwisitis Visitor Centre is on Wickaninnish Beach, situated at the south end of Long Beach, in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve.
Between the hundreds of weather-bleached driftwood on the edge of golden sand dunes and the ocean’s powerful waves, this vast stretch of sand is a living postcard photo. Its westerly exposure make it a surfing destination – also bringing wind onshore.

There is a large parking lot here. Daily National Park usage fees apply and there are pay machines in each parking lot.

  • Access:
Accessible ramp to the viewing deck offers a higher vantage point of the beach.
All-terrain wheelchairs (manually operated by a companion) are available on loan when visitor centre is open.

  • Experience dramatic West Coast storms; watch the waves roll in from a safe distance.
  • Pack a beach picnic and find a spot among the driftwood.
  • Explore the length of this beach, which gets wilder as you head north, and look at the massive sand dunes above.
